Flow

FLOW is a series Olkamll started in 2021 that continued through 2022. Olkamll focused on the creation of wave-like forms through the manipulation of wet paint on canvas. The project is material based; Olkamll experiments with mixing different fluids with paint, as well as various ways to manipulate the paint to create a variety of visual effects. Olkamll was fascinated with the spontaneity and the lack of control he has of the movement of the paint, connecting it with the ever-changing, fluid properties of human identity and character.
